I wish to bring your kind notice about the inaccessibility of Finacle server in all the SBCO branches of our country.

The report generation in both servers is restricted to 5 per hour.  It affects the day to day work of SBCO branch badly and our man power is in waste in the acute staff shortage situation. The generation of consolidations and other daily reports are badly affected in the SBCO branches.

Now days, the Finacle Reports have been limited to only 5 numbers per hour per user and the same report could not be generated within the time period of 10 minutesIt is ascertained that the validation per hour is set in a Finacle Server from the generation of last Finacle report.

For example,  If 1st report generated at 1100 AM and second one at 1110 AM, 1120,1130 and 1140, the next report can be generated by the user after one hour which means only by 1240 hours. This validation will extend the normal working hours and create new headache in the working environment.

At least 16 reports have to be generated for a  Sub Offices which the transactions being carried out in day today work (Normal Days : SB, RD, SSA, RD Bulk, MIS,TD & SI Entries - 2/3 Schemes) and at least 6 Finacle Reports to be generated for Branch Post Offices. Totally, minimum of 22 Reports have to be generated to a Sub office. This is very minimum no of reports generated for a Sub / Head Offices and the user needs to wait 4-5 hours to generate 22 reports. 

In this condition, is it possible by the SBCO branches to complete the generation of report process for all offices in a day?  Now, please think about the situation in SBCO ?????


In the past two weeks, we are facing the problems that the MIS server is not working or very slow  in all the days . SBCO has to fetch consolidations in CBS and CSI platforms and LOTs are also to be fetched for voucher checking. HFINRPT menu is  also disabled in Both Finacle & MIS servers  frequently. In addition, SBCO branch have to send statistical reports to DAP before 10th of every month.  With this kind of poor report generation, SBCO is not able to do their daily and statistical work. This recurring problem of slow speed of server or frequent inaccessibility is still continuing even after 4 years of implementation of CBS system.

In the above critical situation, there may be chances to the SBCO staff not to complete their report generation fully for all offices in a day. In case, if any lapses or omission of generation of reports, the staff of SBCO branch will not be held responsible.

  I would like to request you kindly to take up this matter with concerned Technology team for settling the issues of Finacle on priority basis with  a kind request to avoid such problems in future & allow the SBCO branches to generate the reports as in exist pattern without any restriction for generating the daily reports of Head/Sub offices.

If timely action will not be taken, the total work of SBCO branches will be paralyzed.
